Donald E Fanning, DDS
Dr Fanning is a long time resident of the Killeen/Ft Hood area, having served as a dentist in the US Army for over 22 years, including 12 years stationed at Ft Hood. During his career, Dr Fanning obtained his specialty training with the US Army's 2 Year AEGD program at Ft Hood, and achieved board certification in Comprehensive Dentistry soon afterwards. Dr Fanning knows the value that good oral health care contributes to a person's overall health and self esteem, and strives to help each and everyone of his patients achieve it. He also understands the importance of the doctor/patient relationship, and through his previous training and experiences, provides his patients a comprehensive array of specialty procedures and services. After retiring from the Army, Dr Fanning set up his current practice, Central Texas Family Dental, which has operated continuously at its present location for the past 10 years. He feels fortunate to have the continued opportunity to serve and treat his numerous patients, which include both active duty and retired soldiers, disabled veterans, GS civilians, government contractors and their family members. He also treats numerous, non military affiliated members of our community and their family members who also serve our community and nation with their good deeds. Dr Fanning is happily married with three fully grown children. He and his wife Libby are also blessed with numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces, whose company he greatly enjoys during his off time.
